Kettering has some of the best treatment resources in the Dayton area. What it has fewer of is somewhere stable to live while that treatment actually takes hold. That's where we come in.

Tina Marie's Recovery Housing serves Kettering and the south Dayton metro from our Bear Creek recovery home in Miamisburg — a spacious, structured home on a quiet, wooded lot just southwest of Kettering — plus our other homes across the metro. For a Kettering resident, that means recovery housing close to home, your providers, and your family, without leaving the area you know.

A natural step-down from Kettering-area treatment

Kettering and the surrounding south metro are home to a strong network of hospitals and outpatient programs, and many of our residents arrive after completing inpatient, PHP, or IOP treatment nearby. Clinical treatment works best when it's followed by structure — a safe, substance-free home with accountability, drug testing, and a daily routine. We coordinate with discharge planners and case managers, and provide transportation to ongoing clinical appointments, so the momentum from treatment doesn't stall the moment someone walks out the door. (More on this in our guide to sober living after IOP or PHP.)

What the program looks like

Every resident moves through the same structured program: a 7–14 day observation period, life-skills and job-readiness work, regular drug testing, house meetings, transportation, and clinical support through our clinical provider, over a 9–12 month stay. Men and women are housed separately, with couples housing available when placement fits. See how it all works on our structured sober living page, and why length of stay matters more than weekly cost.

Paying for it — Medicaid or private pay

Kettering families ask about both, and we work with both. We accept Ohio Medicaid (CareSource, Buckeye, Molina, UnitedHealthcare) — with most residents paying $0–$50 per week — and we accept private pay for families who prefer it. Either way, the full breakdown is on our cost page.
